'Deth man with Nevermore

Nevermore bassist Jim Sheppard has been forced to pull out of the band's upcoming US tour with In Flames. This is because he's receiving treatment for Crohn's Disease. His place is to be taken by ex-Megadeth man James Macdonaugh. No word if McDonanaugh will be playing at Rottfest.

On the road

Dean and Sid and their motley Rottfest promotion crew are on the road this weekend - flyers in one hand, beer in the other, and putting posters up with their lips. From the far north to the far south their van will be touring cities and towns getting the Rottfest message out. Not so much a Street Team as a Pissed Team, but working hard no doubt!

Rottfest 666 - what a gig

Ok, it's not to everyone's taste - but it's going to be one helluva metal day \m/

Six bands, family entertainment, and no doubt protestors - on the 6th day of the sixth month, metal hell will be raised at Barrow Square, Clarendon Dock, Belfast
